NATURE - Gatineau Park Hike: King Mountain Trail
2km loop, 1-2 hours, short but steep, worth it for the sweeping views, start at King Mountain parking lot.
NATURE - Gatineau Park Hike: Wolf Trail
9km loop, 3-4 hours, long but relatively flat, hella nature, deep in the woods with plenty of lookouts, start at P13.
NATURE - Gatineau Park Hike: Luskville Falls Trail
4km loop, 2-3 hours, steep and challenging, great views at the top, plus a waterfall on the way, start at Luskville Falls parking lot.
NATURE - Mer Bleue Bog Trail
1.5km loop, 20min, short and easy flat boardwalk, peaceful, scenic & unique wetland ecosystem, start at P22.
NATURE - Dominion Arboretum
A peaceful escape in the heart of Ottawa, all kinds of trees and scenic walking paths.
CITY - Rideau Canal Western Pathway
12km out-and-back, 3-4 hours, easy paved trail along the canal, scenic views from downtown to Dow's Lake, start at the National Arts Centre.
CITY - Kìwekì Point
Walk north along the promenade in Majors hill park and up the Pìdàban footbridge to get to the best lookout in the city, with panoramic views of the Ottawa river, Gatineau, and the hill.

One of our favourite spots to read, with some of the best views of the Ottawa river and parliament hill. Peaceful, scenic, and perfect for a stroll.
