Is there a dress code?

Yes, the dress code is formal! Suits, gowns or cocktail dresses, or any polished attire that feels right for you—regardless of gender. Serve your best look; we can’t wait to celebrate with you in style!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive by 3 30 PM to get settled before the ceremony begins!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors, while the reception and after-party will be indoors—all at the same venue!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there’s plenty of parking at the venue. We’ll also have a shuttle from downtown Ottawa to make things easy. With an open bar to enjoy, please plan ahead and don’t drink and drive—let’s make sure everyone gets home safe (and maybe a little tipsy)!

Is there transportation to and from the venue?

Answer

Yes. A shuttle will depart at 2:45PM from 1 Vimy Place, Ottawa to head to the venue. There will also be two shuttles headed back to 1 Vimy Place, Ottawa, departing the venue at 11 PM and again at 1 AM. To help us plan and secure you a ride, please let us know in your RSVP if you’d like to hop on the shuttle. We’d love to make your trip as smooth as possible. Keep in mind that Uber is not available in Wakefield, so if you’re not planning on driving or taking the shuttle, please arrange a cab in advance.

No gifts, just vibes! Enjoy the day, hit the dance floor, and celebrate with us—that’s all we could ever ask for! If you absolutely insist on giving a gift, a contribution to help us furnish our first home would be so appreciated. But truly, your presence is more than enough!

We love your kiddos, but this night is just for the grown-ups—except for our sweet nieces, who will be joining us as flower girls. Treat yourself to a night off and enjoy the celebration!

Absolutely! We’ll have vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options available. Make sure to select an option when you RSVP. If you have a food allergy or specific dietary request, please also let us know in your RSVP so we can accommodate you!
