We went here on our first date! Ricky obviously got a lot of grace for showing up in his underarmour slides (WITH A STAIN ON THEM MIND YOU), but he looked cute in his fro and japanese shirt. He also never said he was lactose intolerant. Lol! Check it out! The ice cream is NEXT LEVEL delicious. Totally worth the Lactaid pills. xD
Old Sacramento is a historic waterfront district in the heart of downtown Sacramento, just 20 minutes from our venue and 15 minutes from our home in North Natomas. With its charming Gold Rush-era buildings, riverfront views, museums, and unique shops, it's a great spot to explore, grab a bite, or take a scenic stroll before or after the wedding festivities! Can walk around for free, but have to pay at the businesses! Lol!
Amazing coffee shop with GREAT food that Ricky and I visit quite frequently! This specific location is also a great place to get some work done if you need that while you are visiting! Our favorites include the Caramel Dream iced coffee and the 1987! Definitely try the Chilaquiles and/or the Breakfast Skillet with Longanisa!
I'm not even going to do too much. This place is DELICIOUS. Now if you know that real southern cooking, don't come for me, but this place is good good. And the pricing wasn't that bad! Everything I tasted (including Ricky's plate) was slap-your-mama good. Now not my mama, but somebody's...
Ricky and I came here for one of our early dates! I know my lovely nieces and nephews will be here, but for those who are planning to travel with little ones or if you're just a big kid at heart like us then by all means enjoy Scandia! Sort of like a Camelot Park or frugal Chuck-E-Cheese with go-karts, mini-golf, and a couple rides!
