When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please respond to the RSVP by April 25, 2025 so that we may be able to plan accordingly for you and your family's presence! Please RSVP even if you plan to NOT attend as it helps us plan accordingly. If you can’t attend, RSVPing “no” as soon as possible helps us finalize our guest count, seating, and budget. It also allows us to invite others if space opens up. We truly appreciate your prompt response—it makes planning much easier! 💛

What’s the dress code? What does “Formal / Black Tie Optional” mean?

Answer

We’ve listed the dress code as Formal / Black Tie Optional, which means we’d love for guests to dress up, but a full tuxedo isn’t required! Since the wedding is in California in late June, expect sunny weather around 85°F — so feel free to dress stylishly and comfortably! For Men: Black Tie Option: Tuxedo with a black bow tie and dress shoes. Formal Attire: Dark suit and tie (navy, charcoal, or black), crisp dress shirt, and dress shoes. Warm-Weather Tip: Lightweight or breathable fabric (like linen blends or tropical wool) will help keep things cool while still looking sharp. For Women: Black Tie Option: Full-length gown or a very dressy cocktail dress. Formal Attire: Elegant midi or floor-length dress, a dressy jumpsuit, or a polished cocktail dress. Warm-Weather Tip: Fabrics like chiffon, silk, crepe, or satin in lighter shades or floral patterns are both festive and heat-friendly. We just ask that guests avoid casualwear (jeans, polos, sundresses, or flip-flops). Ultimately, we want you to feel confident, comfortable, and ready to celebrate with us!

Where is the event happening?

The Ceremony and Reception will be taking place at the Rocklin Event Center at 2650 Sunset Blvd, Rocklin, CA 95677. The Ceremony is outside in the Garden so please dress accordingly! The Reception is inside in the Ballroom! Thank you so much for joining us. :)

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! We are registered through Amazon which can be accessed here: https://www.amazon.com/wedding/share/TeamCookII We are also registered with HoneyFund which is a registry that allows for contributions towards our honeymoon! We welcome any contribution whether to travel, lodging, or activities! Thank you! We are also registered through Zola! Information regarding all three can be accessed in the "Registry" Section of this website. :) Any contributions would be so appreciated, but we love you all the same! Thank you!

What time does the ceremony begin and what time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:30 pm. Please try to arrive 15-20 minutes prior (4:15 pm latest) to the ceremony to allow for proper seating and to not disrupt the ceremony! :)

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are being flexible with our guest list, but please let us know by the RSVP deadline (April 25th, 2025) so that we may accommodate and plan accordingly.

Are children allowed at the wedding?

Answer

We love your little ones, and we’ve done our best to accommodate children in the wedding party and those whose families may have difficulty securing childcare due to travel. If your invitation includes your child, they are more than welcome to attend! Otherwise, we kindly ask that you enjoy this special evening kid-free. That said, we don’t want childcare to be the reason you can’t celebrate with us! If extenuating circumstances arise, please reach out—we’d love to work something out so you can still be there. 💛

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Yes, there is plenty of parking to the direct right of the building if you are looking from the street.
