We almost didn’t happen, when a mutual friend tried to set us up, we were both hesitant. But she insisted on a blind date, and from the moment we met, we knew something special had begun. Life tested us early, throwing challenges at us that most couples don’t face until much later, but our Catholic faith kept us centered and our love carried us through every storm. By 2019, we didn’t need a ring to know we were forever we bought a home together and never looked back. Juan proposed in the Windy City of Chicago on April 28, 2025, surrounded by family, and it was everything. Now, we are overjoyed to finally stand at the altar, receive the sacrament of marriage, and make official what God placed in our hearts all along.
