We recommend semi-formal attire. Think dress pants, slacks, skirts, dresses, blouses, button-down shirts, polos, or any outfit that makes you look in the mirror and say, "Dang, I look good."
We love your kids—we really do. But unless they're named on the invitation, we're asking them to sit this one out. Consider it your official excuse for a night off!
It's every guest for themselves. Kidding (mostly). The best way to get to the venue is by driving or carpooling. There's plenty of parking, and since our venue is tucked away in the middle of nowhere, don't count on easily catching an Uber or Lyft home. For our out-of-town guests, it's about a 50-minute drive from Portland.
We're keeping our guest list tight and our budget tighter. If your invitation includes a plus-one, they'll be listed by name. If not, we're asking you to leave your mystery guest at home.
Vegans, vegetarians, gluten-free, dairy-free friends. We see you, and we’ve got you covered! There will be options for a variety of dietary needs so everyone can eat happily without tummy troubles :)
Both! Well, sort of...We’ll be indoors for the ceremony. If the weather cooperates (it's fall in Oregon, so who knows), we’ll move outside for the reception and dancing. If it doesn’t, we’ll dance our way inside and pretend like we planned it that way all along.
We love a good behind-the-scenes moment, but please keep phones away during the ceremony. I'm not above a little public shaming and will happily pause the ceremony to call you out (xoxo Apryl). We’ve hired a fantastic photographer to capture the day, and I promise her high-res photos will be better than a blurry photo shot between two heads.
Please, please, please avoid pastels, neon, or anything overly bright. If we’re looking at our photos and your outfit is the first thing our eyes go to, it’s too dang bright. Please stick to neutrals or muted tones: maroon, navy blue, black, gray, brown… you get the idea.
The ceremony starts at 4pm. We are asking guest to arrive at least 15 minutes early. Bonus points for helping Apryl avoid a heart attack by arriving 20–30 minutes early.
