James has been one of the most solid and dependable people in Nico’s life. Grounded and serious when it counts, he’s also effortlessly the funniest guy in the room. Through countless golf rounds and long talks about life in service, they’ve built a bond forged by shared experience — and strengthened by just enough dark humor to carry them through it all.

Mical has been part of Nico’s life since nursing school, quickly becoming one of his best friends. He brought Nico into his close, party-loving circle — a group that has since become family. He also helped make it possible for Nico to return to South Africa to see his mom after 10 years, a moment Nico will never forget. With his wife Josie expecting, Nico is so excited to see him step into this new chapter of fatherhood.

Taylor has been April’s college roommate and lifelong friend. Fiercely loyal, endlessly caring, and always knowing exactly what to say, she has been a constant presence through every season of life. April can count on her for anything — near or far — and is continually inspired by the way she embraces motherhood while still staying her amazing, authentic self.
Groomsman
Keith is Nico’s friend and former roommate. He’s one of the most loyal friends Nico could ask for. Even through their legendary disagreements over dogs and grilled chicken :), he’s always been someone Nico can count on. His good vibes are contagious, and he brings an energy that makes everyone around him better.
Bridesmaid
Brianna has been April’s friend for 17 years — from cheer squads to high school adventures and everything in between. Athletic, hardworking, and now a new mama, she is hilariously funny with a laugh that brightens every room and always keeps April smiling. Beyond that, she faces life’s challenges with determination and grace, and has always been the kind of friend April can count on no matter what.
Groomsman
Keagan is Nico’s cousin, but more than that, he’s like a brother. They grew up together in Kimberley, South Africa — a completely different chapter of life that shaped who they are and holds memories only they truly understand. Even though Keagan now lives in Australia, every conversation feels like no time has passed. Having him there after nearly 15 years apart is an incredibly meaningful full-circle moment for Nico.

April met Pooja in the college dorms at San Diego State, and she’s truly a queen in every sense of the word. A new mama, a lawyer, and an absolute powerhouse, she handles it all with confidence and style. And if there’s dancing involved, she will absolutely show you how it’s done!
