Matron of Honor
We met when I came out the womb, and even shared a room! But actually, she’s a bomb big sister, mother, wife, and educator. She’s my rock when times are tough and one of my biggest cheerleaders and supporters. I love how, when growing up, she would braid my hair into Coolio rolls or silly hairstyles like her personal doll. And when we would make up the most goofy dances. Keep an eye on the dance floor…
Matron of Honor
She’s always taken care of me and Evonne growing up, especially when we’d play fight and I’d get for real hurt…as long I didn’t tell mom! Haha My eldest sister Vanessa is an amazing sister, mother, wife, and leader. I love how passionate she is when she commits to an idea- it’s full steam ahead! See: aquarium full of fish and home full of greenery! Catch us shopping for our next plant to bring home!
Bridesmaid
I remember talking to her as a neo in our sorority, Sigma Lambda Gamma, (she was pledging) and being like-hey she’s a cool, smart chick and we have a lot of fun! We were soon thick as thieves and still keep so very close over a decade later. Bea is one of the most kind, considerate, goofy souls I’ve met, and you can spot us bonding stuffing our faces and tummies with the most delicious of foods!
Bridesmaid
She was like another big sister as I was new to our sorority and she took me under her wing. We vibed in college and laughed a bunch, but life took her all around the world after graduation. Then, when Claudia found herself back in Houston, we found ourselves hanging out and sharing in our Longhorn Pride. She’s my rugby-playing badass of a friend and mama bear. You can catch us on our champagne campaign tryna catch a ride on a sprinter van… hahaha
Bridesmaid
My future sister-in-law is a jack of all trades! A butcher, a baker, a candle stick maker (okay that last part isn’t true, maybe?) She’s a tough cookie who wrestled in high school and won’t take your BS, but these days you can spot her as a student at LSU studying history. But actually, this girl can bake a damn good cake! You can catch us keeping Snow (her dapple eared pup) busy with cuddles.
Bridesman
When I couldn’t catch my breath after a single conversation due to laughing so hard, I knew our friendship would last a lifetime. He served as Financial Director of the HHPO (Hispanic Health Professions Organization) while I was president in my last year at UT. Years later, our paths would cross again when he moved to Houston and we would all-day brunchy munchie all the time. Catch us both taking a nap because we stay sleepy when brunch lasts all morning!
Best Man
Trey is my best buddy from middle school. He used to be really good at Halo PC and has a compilation video somewhere on the internet. If anyone could find that it would make me the happiest person ever.
Groomsman
I've known Adam since middle school. I hit him in the face with a traffic cone on his birthday and I felt really bad about that. He forgave me eventually.
Groomsman
Cavan is my youngest brother. He's taller than me now but I remember him when he was smaller and we gave him a controller to "play" video games with us. He's grown up alot since then and I'm proud that he will be there to share in our special day.
Groomsman
Mathew is my older younger brother. He used to be smaller than me and we used to wrestle a whole bunch when we were kids. I can't do that anymore but it is nice asking him advice about working out. I'm really happy he'll be part of our big day.
Groomsman
I've known Mikie since middle school. I remember during middle school we both got in trouble for spiking our hair up for grunge day. They called us into the nurses office and we had to wash the stuff holding our hair out. Now he's a dad.
Groomsman
Reuel has been a great friend for a long time. Whether we were playing tuba, disc golf, or grabbing a beer he has always been a dependable friend. I always have looked up to him a role model and look forward to sharing more memories with him and his new family.
