Travel Note
Germantown is in the northwestern part of Philadelphia, about a 15-30 minute drive from downtown. It can be accessed relatively easy by car and public transportation. The nearest regional rail train station from downtown is Wister Station on the Chestnut Hill East Line. It is about a 7 minute walk from the Rigby Mansion. The nearest subway stop is Olney Transportation Center on the Broad Street Line. The subway runs more frequently but is a little further away, about a 5 minute drive or bus ride from the Rigby Mansion.
Travel Note
Please consider renting an apartment or house near the wedding as it is largely a residential area. We've seen many great options in Germantown quite close to the Rigby Mansion and in the surrounding neighborhoods of Mt. Airy, Chestnut Hill, and Oak Lane.
