Yes. A valid passport is required for travel to the Dominican Republic. We recommend checking expiration dates early, as many airlines require passports to be valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates.
We recommend arriving by Thursday, October 15, so you can enjoy the welcome festivities and settle in before the wedding weekend. Most guests will depart Sunday or Monday, depending on travel plans.
Round-trip transportation from Las Américas International Airport (SDQ) is included with your stay. After booking your hotel, please email reservaciones@clubhemingway.com with your flight details to schedule pickup.
Lightweight clothing, sunscreen, comfortable walking shoes, and breathable fabrics are highly recommended. October in the Dominican Republic is typically warm and humid (80–85°F). For beach events, wedges or flats are best for walking on sand.

Due to venue capacity and travel logistics, we kindly ask guests to only bring those listed on their invitation.
Most vendors accept tips in U.S. dollars, though some may take Dominican pesos. If you’d like to tip staff for exceptional service, small amounts in cash are appreciated. Hotels sometimes include service charges, so check your bill before tipping extra. (Currency exchange can also be done at the SDQ airport)
