Is there a dress code?

Answer

Colorful Cocktail meets Forest Fairy Festive! Whimsical flashes and rainbow encouraged. Come ready to dance! Think flowy dresses, dressy jumpsuits, suits with flare, floral and bright. Be yourself. Be festive. Let your most whimsical and elegant self shine bright! Please keep in mind that the ceremony will be outdoors and temperatures can be quite high this time of year. We'll be at some elevation (around 2400 ft), which will give a little reprieve from the heat of the valley, but still likely around 90 degrees or so.

We are! You'll find our honeymoon and "future" funds as well as a variety of wish list items under the registry tab.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

15-30 minutes before the ceremony (3-3:15 pm)

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have such a beautifully abundant community that we are not doing plus ones beyond those whose names are listed on the invite. You'll see the names of those in your party when you go to RSVP on the website. If you're in a serious romantic relationship and you think we missed your partner on the invite, please let us know!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! We love your kiddos and would love to celebrate with them! You should see their names included in your party when you RSVP. That being said, if you're looking for a weekend away without your kids, that's totally welcome too! If you're bringing them on the trip, but don't want to have them at the wedding, we may be able to help with some babysitter recommendations in the area.

Yes! Check under the travel tab.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is plenty of parking at the venue. You'll see a lot when you arrive with signs for the overflow lot up the hill.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will have a shuttle from Placerville hotels to the wedding and back! Details coming as we get closer. There is also Lyft/Uber in the area.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! There is a section for allergies/dietary restrictions when you RSVP.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! There is a happy hour at a local winery on Friday to kick-off the weekend and a brunch on Sunday to nosh and bid farewell! Details when you RSVP.
