On the 16th of June back in 1990 I was introduced into this world and as I am introducing myself to the world my brother decides he wants attention and so here he comes out. So I guess you can say I formally met 3 on June 16, 1990. Since that day we have been inseparable, he wants to do everything I do. He can never do things alone, he apparently didn’t want to be born on his own day, he didn’t want to go to school by himself, he didn’t even want to have a different career than his big brother. But if we are being honest I met Jessica and was friends with Jessica before he was hahaha. I am proud that both of these beautiful people were able to find each other and are ready to spend the rest of their lives together.

One day whilst checking work email, I came across a job inquiry. I read, became impressed, and immediately forwarded to the district’s fine arts chair. I was later contacted by the chairperson telling me that the young man would indeed be interviewing. It is no surprise he got the job as his resume and credentials were impressive. Later that summer, I spoke with the gentleman over the phone as we made acquaintances and talked about the upcoming year. I was excited to find out he was a Cedar Grove alumnus and totally captivated by his spirit. I really formed a bond with the young man at that year’s Midwest Convention. Pickard has been an outstanding colleague and, has proven to be an even better friend. He has gained my trust through his unwavering loyalty and high quality of character.

Me and anthony met in 2005 when I first started marching band. . Through out the years we had friendly competition and grew closer when we realized we were a lot more similar than different. We did band camps,summer programs, school events, and many other things as friends. Our families know each other and the hours spent laughing, joking, working and just being ourselves turned us into family. And now more than ever he is my brother from now till the end. Anthony is a great man to look up to being an educator, musician, a go getter and well received in our field. Very proud to be at his side.
