Matron of Honor
Emily and Julie first met in 2010 when they worked on a Comcast commercial together, along with Sofia Vergara. Someone on set asked if they were best friends because they were “as thick as thieves,” which they both did not know the meaning of. She did turn into Emily’s best friend after all, and Emily was lucky enough to officiate her wedding to Drew Wood in 2020. Julie is hands down the most loyal and caring person around. Also, her impressive southern accent comes out with force when she drinks wine - she’ll gladly tell you stories about growing up in the mountains of North Carolina if you ask her.
Bridesmaid
Brittany, real-estate-agent-extraordinaire as well as Britzy the Clown (book her @britzysparties on Instagram) has been a close friend of Emily’s since 2012. Their first conversation was a passionate discussion on the subject of finding boots that fit around their skinny calves. The two of them could talk for hours and hours and are always laughing together. Their connection remains strong over years of ups and downs and the two support each other without exception.
Bridesmaid
Emma is Emily’s sister-in-law and the smarter "Em Handziuk." Emily and her met her in 2010 when she made the strange choice to date my brother Bradley. She’s the greatest mother to the most adorable little girl ever, Emily's niece and flower girl Sally. She and Bradley are extremely admired by Ashton and Emily and they all adore being goofy together.
Bridesmaid
Sabrina is Ashton’s little sister and the little bunny of the Pierre family. She and Emily met for the first time at her high school colorguard performance in 2017 and she hasn’t been able to get rid of me ever since. She is, admittedly, the best teenager I know and the funniest and sweetest too. We are all so proud of you, Sabrina - Chega!
Bridesmaid
Leanna/LeLe/Charlotte’s mama, who is expecting her second child around the end of 2021, is one of Emily’s best friends. The two of them have been on many adventures together although they probably prefer cuddling up on the couch at home. She is an absolute blast to have around and doesn’t say “pillow,” “mirror,” or “pretzel” in a funny way at all. Leanna is somehow the funniest, classiest, and fiercest friend all at once, that is adored by many. 99.897 who da!
Bridesmaid
Mrs. Samantha Peardon is an excellent friend of Emily’s and her former roommate and bridesmaid. She and Emily may or may not have done plenty of partying together but thankfully have matured (a bit) over time. Sam is the best mama to precious baby Walker, a boss lady, and a CrossFit queen. Ask her about the time she and I had pink eye (if you dare).
Bridesmaid
Cori Macaluso, wife of the distinguished officiant, Father Dominic Macaluso, is a fellow Swiftie, cat lover, and crafty lady - just like Emily. The two possess a love/hate relationship with Salesforce/their careers and are constantly trying to keep Dom and Ashton off of each other. They both have superb style, are hilarious people, and can’t be on time for anything at all!
Bridesmaid
Dr. Ayesha Khan is Emily’s fellow Canadian bestie. They met back in 2013 at the famed Ovation condo pool (Julie’s former residence). Emily, Ashton, Ayesha her husband Raheel are prone to getting into some unruly shenanigans together and rarely pass up an opportunity to be completely silly together. She’s Ashton and Emily’s cat, Toby’s, aunt, the go-to stylish friend in the group, and simply the sweetest person!
Bridesmaid
Emily met Tiana, aka the Tiki Queen, on their first day of work at QGenda. We immediately bonded over our impeccable sense of humor and disdain for all forms of injustice. She rubs elbows with others worldwide as a professional violinist, but remains down to earth like any other folk. You'll hear her share her musical talents at the wedding and be sure to ask her about becoming a tooth doctor!
Flower Girl
Sally, age 2, is working double duty as our Flower Girl and Ring Bearer. Her parents are Bradley (Emily's brother) and Emma. The family lives in Denver where Sally enjoys her outdoor leisure time, crafts and fun with mom, and being the cutest kid at her daycare.
Best Man
Ashton and Zach met each other at Fort Collins High and have been great friends ever since, bonding in particular over mutual musical taste and love for travel, and speaking of which, there's no better travel expert than Zach. Sometimes he'll even surprise you at 3 AM with Waffle House. Zach has always made the effort to come see Ashton wherever he may be, and always has his door open for Ashton and Emily to stay at the Sipacious Zach Pad during their last minute trips to Denver. If you hear a "CACAW" bird call, you can be certain Zach is somewhere near.
Officiant
Ashton and Dom met in Phoenix while both working at AT&T stores. Ashton was so enamored with Dom's coordinated orange glasses, belt, and shoelaces that it was simply love at first sight. A short time later after both moving away from Phoenix, the two joined forces again in Atlanta at the Atlanta office of AT&T. Since then they've been on many adventures, but still can't talk sportsball with Ashton, so please take this opportunity to speak with Dominic about how the Cleveland Brownies never deserve a Super Bowl win.
Groomsman
Garrett is a college friend of Ashton's and limited time roommate. They met one fateful evening in 2003 over AOL Instant Messenger when he asked Jesse Gill who Lando's co-pilot was in Return of the Jedi, which everyone should know is Nien Nunb. Since then, Garrett and Ashton have enjoyed many a wild weekend across the country. In his spare time Garrett enjoys declining Ashton's invites to play video games. LAAAAAAAAAATER MAN
Groomsman
Ashton and Jesse met in 9th grade at the prestigious Lesher Junior High in Fort Collins, CO. They quickly became good friends through their mutual love of debaucherous activities, such as crashing carts, throwing fruit into fans at Toddy's Supermarket, and not-so-well executed senior pranks. Jesse and Ashton frequently visited each other in between Jesse's deployments while Ashton was in college, and even though Ashton is rude for not visiting him in Boise yet they still maintain a great friendship.
Groomsman
Ashton and Nate met in 2005 in Flagstaff while "attending" Northern Arizona University, but their friendship really spun out of control when they both happened to move to Tucson in 2006. Nate was an honorary roommate of the infamous Waverly house, and in 2007 they made it official by living together when they moved back up to Flagstaff, and roomed together on their second Tucson stint. Nate can make friends with virtually anyone, loves himself a nice blazer, and can always be counted on for a good time. Ashton and Emily are still recovering from his visit to Atlanta in 2019. "GAME ON"
Groomsman
Jeff in Ashton met at work in Atlanta in 2013 and became close friends very quickly over shared ridiculous senses of humor. They have enjoyed nights on the town on multiple continents and have the snapchat video evidence to prove it. They'd paid enough for food and drink at the local watering hole, Bat & Ball, to probably buy the place at this point. Ashton still owes Jeff a VIP night with Tïesto, a subject everyone should be sure to bring up with him.
Groomsman
Jesse lived right next to Ashton in the freshman dorms and was Ashton's first friend at NAU. After Ashton returned to his floor when his mother had left and he was truly on his own, Jesse said "hey, want to go to a party?" and their friendship was secured. Jesse and Ashton became roommates afterwards all throughout college, living at four different places together, including the legendary Waverly house, sharing mutual loves of Sci Fi, video games, and snowboarding. Ashton has kept in contact with Jesse ever since and frequently visit each other at their home base locations.
Groomsman
Ashton and Pabst met in Tucson at the fabled Waverly house. University of Arizona fan extraordinaire, Pabst became good friends with Ashton over mutual love for Star Wars, video games, and most importantly Eric Prydz-CallOnMe.mp3. Luckily he was able to look passed Ashton's disinterest for Sportsball. After living in different cities for years, Pabst an Ashton found themselves in Atlanta around the same time in 2013, and have been close ever since. If you get a chance, ask him what the difference between a chickpea and a garbanzo bean is.
Groomsman
Ashton met Newman at NAU during Ashton's second (or was it third?) attempt at graduating college. They both shared many classes together in business school and would frequently run into each other at the town's expansive selection of bars. But it wouldn't be until 2016 when Newman and Ashton found themselves to be the bachelors of Atlanta did their friendship find new meaning. Newman and Ashton were epic wingmen, and Newman could always be counted on for a night on the town, school day or not. Newman is the father of his beautiful son, Walter (pictured).
