Things To Do
If you’re around for a bit longer, there’s plenty to see and do near Fota Island and Cobh.
Fota is home to the Wildlife Park and the beautiful gardens at Fota House—both lovely for a relaxed wander.
The nearby town of Cobh is well worth a visit, with its colourful streets, harbour views, and attractions like the Titanic Experience.
For something outdoors, Harper’s Island and Cuskinny Marsh offer easy walking spots and nature right on the doorstep.
A little further afield, you’ll find Midleton (home of the Jameson Distillery) and Cork City, both great for food, pubs, and exploring.
All close by, all easy going, and plenty to fill a day or two if you’ve time.
