If you need to change your RSVP status, please do so by October 14th . This will help us get an updated count for food, drinks, and other wedding planning needs. Thank you :)
The ceremony will start at 3:30pm and guests can start arriving at 3pm. Please note there is a short walk (5 minutes or less) down a wide dirt path from the parking area to the ceremony location.
The ceremony and reception will be taking place at Perry Mansfield. There will be some parking available across from the pavilion (our reception location) and much more on the east side of the Julie Harris Theater. Carpooling is encouraged!
Our wedding is what we call "mountain casual." This means less-fancy dresses or jumpsuits, button downs & slacks, and comfortable footwear or boots. Bring a sweater or jacket for when the sun goes down as it gets chilly after dark. Tall spiky heels are not recommended as the ceremony *may* be outdoors on grass. The reception will be located mostly indoors, with the option to eat outside.
You can van/truck/camper camp onsite starting Friday afternoon. Please no tent camping, tents are not allowed per county ordinance. We have the venue from Friday at 12pm until Monday at 12pm, so stay as long as you like! We will be parking vans/campers on the WEST side of the Julie Harris theater. After turning left onto the dirt road from CR 36, take the first right to the theater. We will have signage in place :) Bathrooms and showers will be available in the Conrad building, on the opposite side of the Julie Harris theater. There will not be electrical or water hook-ups. Feel free to contact Dana or Matt with questions about camping!
We are not providing transportation to and from Perry Mansfield. Steamboat has multiple options for rides including Uber, Lift, and Alpine Taxi. If you are staying at a hotel, check to see if they offer a shuttle service. We encourage carpooling or biking and dissuade any of our guests from drinking and driving. Vehicles can be left at Perry Mansfield overnight and picked up the following day.
Perry Mansfield is the oldest performing arts school in North America at 109 years old! Many of the buildings onsite are historic and have been in use as long. Matt and I live in cabins just down the road that are also historic buildings and were previously used to house Perry-Mansfield founders and students many years ago. Perry-Mansfield’s Mission Statement is to "provide young people superior arts training in body, heart, and mind and to promote creativity, a sense of the close brotherhood of the arts, and the values of a way of life close to nature."
