More to come on shuttle information from the resort to the balloon park. For those with cars, there are several spots in town where you can park your car and get on a bus shuttle to the balloon field. This is the preferred option as it can be very hectic trying to get a parking spot at the field. Recommend EARLY start, typically 4-5am to ensure you're at the park by 6am. Balloons typically start lifting off by 6:30am-7am pending weather. Always fun to bundle up and walk around the park vendors with a breakfast burrito and hot chocolate in hand.
Spectacular views and boasted as the longest tram in the US. Please check their website for hours and detail; due to COVID online tickets are required.
My favorite hike in Albuquerque. Rated 'Very Difficult' given the steep 12% incline of about 3700ft over 9 miles, but the views are fantastic and there is a tram lift at the top for an easy, and well deserved, ride down.
There are several unique museum opportunities in Abq and mostly located downtown. Be aware of COVID precautions and potential change of hours. Would recommend contacting them directly before visiting.
Really neat children's museum for all ages.
One of our favorite breweries in NM. They have multiple locations and outdoor seating. Got to try before you leave!
We did a pub crawl our last visit to ABQ and this was our favorite. Great staff, friendly people, and excellent beers.
Excellent climbing nearby and the hot springs were always a favorite.
We stayed the night here during our last visit and boy was it a treat! We wandered along the trails to an old mine and got back in time for some nice night time soaks. Pricey, but worth it. I want to go back for a massage and a mud soak.
