What does “Black Tie Optional” mean? Formal attire is encouraged. Guests are welcome to wear a tuxedo or a dark suit with a tie. Floor-length gowns, cocktail dresses, or other elegant evening attire are also appropriate. The bridal party will be dressed in black and white, so we kindly ask guests to avoid wearing those colors. We would love for guests to wear color, though any shade other than black or white is perfectly welcome. Please note that portions of the reception will take place on grass, so we recommend choosing footwear with that in mind. ──────── What should I wear to the other events? All wedding events will take place on-site at Château de Varennes. What time should I arrive for the ceremony? The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00 PM.
