Things To Do

The High Line

The High Line

New York, NY 10011
, (212) 500-6035

An old elevated railroad turned urban park, where we had our first date! We recommend stopping by Chelsea Market first for some picnic-worthy snacks and then using the High Line entrance at 14th Street & 10th Avenue.

Fraunces Tavern

Fraunces Tavern

54 Pearl Street, New York, NY 10004
, (212) 968-1776

George Washington's go-to pub and one of our favorites for a cocktail or dinner, right off the Staten Island Ferry.

Governors Island

Governors Island

New York, NY 11231

A car-free island right in between Manhattan and Staten Island that has been turned into a massive public park with restaurants, a spa (highly recommend), bike rentals, hammocks, art-filled houses, plenty of room to run around, a huge hill with slides built into the side, and amazing views. Great for kids!

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Staten Island

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Staten Island

2636 Hylan Boulevard, New Dorp Beach, NY 10306
, (929) 233-9660

Our favorite place to catch a movie! Check out Alamo Drafthouse locations in Staten Island, Brooklyn, and Downtown Manhattan.

Craft House

Craft House

60 Van Duzer Street, Mid Island, NY 10301
, (718) 442-3433

For a great meal on Staten Island, Craft House serves up bar food (try the nachos) paired with sours and stouts from our favorite local Killsboro Brewery.

Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden

Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden

1000 Richmond Terrace, Staten Island, NY 10301
, (718) 425-3504

A lovely botanical garden on Staten Island.
