Veronica’s first encounter with Anthony was brief but memorable: he was the master barista at the campus cafe, quickly becoming her go-to person for the best drink concoctions. Their paths crossed again the following year under far more exciting circumstances. Veronica applied to work at the cafe, and Anthony—who was instantly thrilled—became her trainer. Working side-by-side allowed a timid friendship to blossom. Anthony soon realized he was completely smitten, often quoting Veronica as the "unattainable dream." Driven by this sentiment, he took the initiative to pursue a deeper connection. After months of shared shifts, group hangouts, and laughter, Anthony finally asked Veronica out on their first official date.

The day was a beautiful chronicle of our relationship. Anthony spent hours guiding Veronica through Clearwater, reliving our first few dates. Throughout the day, he presented her with one sentimental letter for every year they had spent together. Their last stop was the pier, where they paused to watch the sunset. Upon closer inspection, Veronica spotted a man 100 feet away in a bright yellow tent—their secret photographer. Anthony handed Veronica the final, heartfelt note. After she read it, he guided her up for a hug, and as the last light of the sunset disappeared into the ocean, he dropped to one knee and asked her to start their forever.
