Is there parking at Yacht Starship?

Answer

YES, there is city owned parking onsite and is $2/hour. It can be paid via their mobile app or at the machine in the parking lot.

What time does the ship sail?

Answer

The ship will sail PROMPTLY at 11:30AM. Boarding begins at 11:00AM so please allow time for parking and traffic.

Is the vessel handicap accessible?

Answer

Yacht StarShip III can accommodate standard wheelchairs on the first deck of the ship, however there is no elevator for access to the second deck. There is a restroom on the first level with limited handicap access.

May I bring my own camera on board?

Answer

Guests are more than welcome to bring their own camera for personal pictures and videos while aboard the ship. We only ask that during the ceremony, you do NOT go live on social media.

Where is the normal cruise route?

Answer

Yacht StarShip’s normal Tampa route includes cruising out of the Ybor Channel and into the Hillsborough Bay and Garrison Channel. While in route, passengers view Bayshore Drive, Harbour Island, Davis Island and Downtown Tampa’s Skyline. CALMNESS OF THE SEAS IS UNPREDICTABLE. IF YOU ARE PRONE TO MOTION SICKNESS, PLEASE TAKE THE NECESSARY PREVENTATIVE MEASURES BEFORE BOARDING. (i.e. Dramamine, Motion Sickness bands, Ginger candies, etc...)

What if it rains?

Answer

Yacht StarShip will cruise in most weather conditions all-year round. Each enclosed deck is climate controlled and the weather will not affect your cruise. In the case of severe weather conditions or upon the direction of the U.S. Coast Guard, the ship will remain dockside for the length of the event.

Am I allowed to bring a stroller on board?

Answer
