What are you doing with Covid?

Answer

Our number one priority is to keep our guests safe! The wedding celebration (ceremony and reception) will be held outside, so plenty of fresh, circulating air. Guests/households will be socially distanced, both for the ceremony and when eating dinner. At this point in time, masks are required by the state of Texas to be worn unless you are seated to eat, or can appropriately maintain distance, so please have one handy! Hand sanitizer will be provided.

If everything is outside, what can I anticipate weather-wise?

Answer

The weather in Austin in early November is typically lovely, and should be very comfortable to be outside! Highs tend to be in the low 70s, with lows in the mid 50s. Please bring a wrap or a light jacket for later in the evening as the temperature drops.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a few hotel recommendations listed in the "Travel and Hotels" tab for more info. We'd also recommend checking out AirBnb, as hotels in the area tend to get booked up fairly quickly.

Please let us know by October 16th at the latest!

If you have a plus one in your invitation, please do! Otherwise, we ask that you bring just your wonderful self along.

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of parking onsite. Uber and Lyft also visit the wedding venue, but if you plan to do any exploring, we recommend renting a car for your stay.

Can I stay in Austin, rather than Dripping Springs?

Answer

Of course! The venue is about 30 min to an hour outside of Austin (depending on traffic and where in Austin you are), so keep an eye on your travel time if you book something within Austin.
