Harvard Square
Historic neighborhood known for it's vibrant restaurant and coffee/cafe scene. Visitor's can also walk through the campus of Harvard University, open to the public. It is only a 10 minute uber ride from the Hyatt, and the Red Line located right in the heart of Harvard Square will take you into downtown Boston in just 10 minutes. Recommendations: Tatte Bakery and Cafe Border Cafe (Tex Mex) Russell House Tavern Daedalus (Rooftop bar)
Cambridge Brewing Company
Popular restaurant that brews their own beer and has many others on tap. The Hyatt will be providing a complimentary shuttle right to Kendall Square for an easy commute to this great brewery!
Newbury Street
Iconic street in Boston's Back Bay neighborhood with hundreds of shops, restaurants, and cafe's. It is approximately a 15-minute Uber ride from the Hyatt, and is accessible via both the Green and Orange T lines. Parking is extremely difficult.
North End
Famous district in Boston known for it's local Italian cuisine, cobblestone streets, fresh baked breads and pizza, and plentiful amounts of Italian pastries, espresso, and gelato. Some of our favorite's: Fiore Restaurant Bova (Italian take-out deli) Trattoria II Panino Massimino's
Fenway Neighborhood
Historic neighborhood with more than just the legendary Fenway Park (unfortunately, the Red Sox will be on the West Coast during our wedding). Visitors can try numerous restaurants and bars in the area including some of our favorites: Game On (CT and NJ visitors...this is just about the best pizza you'll get in Boston!) Our Favorites
Because we have a lot of guests coming from out-of-town, we wanted to share some of our favorite places in the greater Boston area: Breweries: Nightshift Brewery located in Everett, MA (approximately 20 minute drive from Hyatt) Wachussett pop-up Brewery located in City Hall Plaza, across from Quincy Market (outdoor brewery) Trillium Beer Garden located in The Greenway on Atlantic Ave Restaurants: Cambridge Common (pub food located approximately a 10 minute drive from Hyatt) Cappo (Italian food located in South Boston) Golden Temple located in Brookline (sit-down asian cuisine that later in the night provides a dance floor and DJ on weekend evenings...also the location of our first date) Other Attractions: JFK Library and Museum New England Aquarium Boston Public Garden
