One of our favorite “date nights” is going to the Alamo Drafthouse for a movie and dinner.

Another tradition to us is going to the Botanical Gardens every winter to see the Garden Glow, hence why it was the perfect place for Anthony to propose.

Celebrating Eyrica’s birthday together for the first time, Anthony got her things she always dreamed about: a Polaroid camera & typewriter since she would pretend write at her dad’s work on sick days.

Every year, we set off sky lanterns to celebrate another year together. We write on one side what we are grateful and on the other, we write our prayers/hopes for the next year together.

Stepping into a significant parental-role for Mason, he has taught Eyrica a multitude of lessons and still does. While Eyrica wasn’t there when he was born, she will be there every second from now.

We first expanded our family by adding Cookie and this is the first time Mason held her. We knew we couldn’t leave without her after this moment.
