FAQs

Question

What is "Garden Attire" and what should I be wearing?

Answer

Some suggestions for Garden Attire would be sundresses, floral prints, suits in lighter hues, and fun sun hats. The ceremony and cocktail hour, weather permitting, will be outside in a field, so please wear comfortable shoes! The reception will be in a covered all-season tent. Dress beautifully but comfortably!

Question

What is the weather like in June in Pennsylvania?

Answer

It's usually pretty warm! We will be outdoors for the ceremony (weather permitting) and under a strong, sided tent for the reception. There will be cooling fans blowing throughout. It does get cooler into the evening, so a light jacket is probably advisable!

Question

Are kids, dates, or additional guests welcome?

Answer

We have a guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

What are our menu options?

Answer

The Riegelsville Inn will be providing a beautiful buffet for you at our wedding. You do not have to choose an option -- there will be enough for everyone that day! However, for planning purposes, there are 3 hors d'oeuvres: vegetable spring roll with chili dipping sauce, tomato bruschetta on garlic toasted baguette, and bacon wrapped scallops. We will have a garden salad before dinner. The entree options are top sirloin steak au poivre with brandy-peppercorn cream sauce, mahi-mahi fillet with Jamaican jerk seasoning and fresh mango salsa (deliciously flavorful but not too spicy -- Annie promises!), or braised short rib with bordelaise and roasted mushroom cap. There will also be an actual vegetarian option in addition to the fish. Sides of macaroni and cheese, and broccoli with garlic and olive oil will be available, along with garlic bread. Please let us know on your RSVP card if you have any dietary restrictions we should know about!
