Question

What does the RSVP deposit cover? Will I have to make any additional payments after the RSVP deposit?

Answer

On-site guests will enjoy a three-night stay at the venue from April 10–13, 2026, which includes meals and beverages (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic), access to all amenities, and exclusive admission to each wedding event—including welcome dinners, curated gatherings, and a farewell brunch - for a seamless, all-inclusive Sicilian experience. Off-site guests are warmly invited to participate in all wedding celebrations throughout the weekend. While lodging is not included, you'll have access to every scheduled event, complete with meals, beverages, and festivities. There are no additional deposits required after your RSVP deposit. We’ve intentionally structured the weekend to be as accessible and inclusive as possible, doing our best to keep lodging and related costs affordable so that everyone can enjoy a shared dream getaway. As your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for - and we’re fortunate to already have everything we need - we’ve created a contribution registry named Our Next Chapter Fund for those who feel moved to contribute or celebrate with a gift. Can we bring children?

Answer

After careful thought, we have decided to make our wedding a primarily adults-only celebration. This allows everyone to fully relax and enjoy the experience we’ve planned. We hope you’ll take this opportunity to enjoy a romantic getaway with your partner or a rejuvenating solo trip to this beautiful part of Sicily. Certain family members are invited with children, as clearly noted on individual invitations—otherwise, we kindly ask that no children attend. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We truly appreciate your understanding and support in helping us create a memorable and special weekend for all.

Are phones and photos allowed during the event?

Answer

The venue we have selected is renowned for its stunning surroundings, and we encourage you to capture as many photos as you wish outside of select moments, including the ceremony, first dances, speeches, and cake cutting. This policy allows our professional photographers and videographers to work without interruption and ensures that high-quality images and videos can be shared with all guests after the event.

Should I rent a car?

Answer

If this is something that would add to your experience, absolutely! You are more than welcome to rent a car during your stay. Italy drives on the right side of the road, which may feel familiar and comfortable for many of our guests. That said, we encourage you to consider a few important factors: rental costs, international driving requirements, and the limited parking available at the Tonnara. We will be providing shuttles for events throughout the weekend. If you’re planning to use your rental car to explore the surrounding areas or venture further across Sicily, we hope you have a wonderful time discovering all it has to offer. Do I need to convert cash before getting to Italy?

Answer

Italy’s currency is the euro (€). While credit cards are widely accepted across Europe, many small businesses may not accept American Express due to higher processing fees. We recommend carrying backup cards and some cash for convenience. Currency exchange can be arranged before departure, at the airport, or at local Italian banks. Additionally, it is advisable to notify your bank of your travel plans in advance to prevent any delays or interruptions due to fraud alerts.

If I am staying On-Site at the Tonnara, how will I receive my lodging information?

Answer

All travel and lodging information will be shared after all RSVPs have been received, ensuring accurate room assignments. Once finalized, details regarding specific rooms and accommodations will be provided to all on-site guests. This approach allows us to make any necessary adjustments should there be any declines.
