FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 31st, 2025. It is very important that we have the correct headcount, so please do not delay!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, we are having Catholic wedding ceremony in a Catholic Church. Please dress semi-formal for the occasion that is also appropriate to be in a Church and Sanctuary. Modest clothing that covers you properly (including shoulders and knees!) is necessary to honor God and the place we are receiving the Sacrament of Marriage.

Question

What is a Sacrament or Sacrament of Marriage?

Answer

A Sacrament in the Catholic Church is an outward/visible sign instituted by Christ that conveys divine grace. The Sacrament of Marriage, is a sacred and permanent union between a man and a woman together in a covenant with God. The outward sign is the wedding ceremony and wedding rings, and in this life long covenant the couple receives graces from God to get each other into Heaven.

Question

What if I'm not Catholic?

Answer

Don't worry! We will have pamphlet guides in the pews for your convenience that will explain everything going on. On that note, if you are not Catholic then you cannot receive the Eucharist. During the time of communion, you can choose to walk up with your arms crossed over your chest to receive a blessing or you may stay seated.

Question

Where is the Reception?

Answer

Our reception is being held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church as well! The reception area will be a smaller building attached to the Sanctuary. So after the ceremony Mass, we will just have a nice little walk over to the reception building for dancing and fun.

For all the days along the way
