Travel Note
Merge onto I95N from the closest location. From there stay on I95N until exit 217 in Howland. (Beware the awful ruts in the driving lane from Orono to Howland) Take a right off the end of the exit ramp and the first right through the rotary, cross over King’s Bridge and stay going straight through the four corners by Dollar General. Less than 5 miles you will come to a T intersection where you turn right onto ME-188. Follow that road for about 9 miles and you will cross into Burlington, you will take a left at the four corners by the Burlington Bible Church and Ye Ole Tavern. My parent’s house is on the right after less than a half-mile, it’s right after the old Burlington Fire Station! Starting from the Portland area, it usually takes three hours to get there, from the Ellsworth area it should take an hour and a half to two hours.
Travel Note
Our reception will take place less than a mile down the road back in the direction you came by the Burlington town line at the Labelle-Perkins VFW Hall. So a left out of my parent’s driveway, right at the four corners and it will be on the first road on your right, Richardson Road. That road just has the VFW hall and the salt sand shed so it’s very easy to find! There will be balloons to help find both locations.
Travel Note
To anyone who needs a place to stay that wants to be closer than 20 from a motel, you are more than welcome to pitch a tent in the bride's parent's back yard! As long as the arrangements have been made prior to the day of the wedding with the bride and groom.
