We met at the University of Washington baseball field. Anthony was coaching Amanda's brother's select baseball team and she lived down the street, and decided to stop by to watch the game. At the game, they playfully talked and teased through the safety net...and she never missed another game. They dated for the summer and then parted ways until fate had them cross paths again in 2016. She had just moved back to Seattle from L.A. and was walking across a grocery store parking lot, when they saw each other. Their second first date was July 26, 2016 and they have been together ever since.

It was the first day of winter and a quiet Saturday morning. We had just gotten our puppy, Pippa, and as an early-bird Anthony was up to walk her. He came upstairs to wake Amanda up by putting Pippa in bed - a normal morning activity, but this time she had something special around her neck. But Amanda is not a morning person, so Anthony had to encourage her to open her eyes...first saying he and Pippa had an important question to ask. Then Pippa started to chew her new accessory so he started saying..."Hun, Pippa has something in her mouth! Get it!" She finally jumped up to grab her and the ring around her neck while Anthony was on one knee near the side of the bed. He then asked to marry her and of course, she said YES!
