Things To Do

A few of our favorite hot spots and activities

Staten Island Ferry

New York, NY 10011

Staten Island Ferry. For the best view of the city at night. It runs 24 hours and is free. On the way there, you will see the Statue of Liberty and on the way back you will get the most amazing view of Mahatten.

High Line Park

New York, NY 10011

High Line Park. In old movies of New York, there is usually a scene where a small apartment rattles everytime a train passes. Well, the trains are gone, but the tracks are still there and have been transformed into a walking park.

San Gennaro Festival

Mulberry Street, Little Italy, NY 10013

San Gennaro Festival. Annual Italian Fest in Little Italy. It will be going on from the 14th - 24th. Check out www.sangennaro.org for more details. There will be cannoli eating competition for those who dare.

McSorley's Old Ale House

15 East 7th Street, East Village, NY 10003

McSorley's Old Ale House. Considered to be the oldest bar in NYC, est. 1854, and seen in the opening credits of Saturday Night Live. We suggest going during the day or on a weekday as it tends to be crowded weekend nights. Ask for Bart, he can explain some of the original decor.
