Max met Amanda and Jake during their fateful and life-altering year abroad in Israel. Jake and Amanda have had the privilege of living and volunteering with Max in Ramle, Israel, where Max was Jake and Amanda's roommate. He has been there since the inception of their relationship, and has shared and witnessed many of their successes and failures. From drinking from solo cups at Shul on Simchat Torah, to traversing the desert on camels, to celebrating passover in Colorado, Amanda Jake, and Max have shared in many exciting and fun moments. As such, they could not think of a more perfect person to share a special and prominent place in this tremendous occasion by marrying them!
Michelle (Shelly) Wyant
Maid of Honor
Shelly is one of Amanda's closest and oldest friends. She is a part of "The Girls." Shelly and Amanda met in Elementary School in 4th grade when she moved from California. She is always upbeat and up for any adventure. Shelly is the funny one and always makes everyone laugh! Shelly and Amanda have the same taste in music, and both love traveling. Shelly came to visit Jake and Amanda in New Hampshire last summer and they all had a really great time! Amanda can't wait to spend her special day with Shelly!
Emily Thompson
Best Woman
Although only slightly older than Jake, Emily has often been like an older sister to him. Emily has been in Jake’s life almost as long as Matt, (Jake’s co-best-man). Emily is always there for Jake when he needs advice, and is usually there to pull him in and Matt out of trouble, unless of course she is there too, which is more often than not. Typically the one that gets the party started, Jake looks forward to Emily helping start this momentous life-long party as well.
Adele Vrooman

Adele is Amanda's best friend from college. Adele and Amanda met freshmen year at Colorado State University and became fast friends while living on the same floor of Braiden Hall. They practically lived together. The following year, they made it official, and lived together for the subsequent three years! Adele is kind-hearted, loyal, and caring. You can count on Adele to help you with whatever you need. She really goes out of her way when Amanda comes to visit Colorado, and was also the first Colorado friend to visit Amanda and Jake in New Hampshire. Amanda and Jake are both so excited to share their special day with her!
Matthew Thompson
Best Man
Matt and Jake have been best friends since they met on the first day University. Initially bonding over their hometown of Winthrop, they have since spent many summers together plotting and scheming over beers. From drinking homemade brews on a boat at midnight, to braving blizzards in Farmington, ME for a good time, Matt and Jake are always finding fun. Jake, along with Matt and Emily (Jake’s co-best-woman), are often the life of the party; Jake and Amanda’s wedding will be no exception.
Miri Rivera

Miri is Amanda's cousin and is also a good friend. Amanda was a bridesmaid in Miri's recent wedding, and can't wait for Miri to be in hers! Amanda has many great memories with Miri from their childhood. Amanda used to spend every Thanksgiving and Passover with her family. Amanda and Miri used to love to singing loudly at the table, putting on performances for the family, or goofing around bowling. Miri is a talented pastry chef, and sassy enough so you can tell that they are related!
Jonathan Ansell

Quickly becoming one of the funniest people Jake knows, he and Jon have spent little time not laughing. Jon is Jake’s future brother-in-law, and although he has known him for such a short time, Jake looks forward to having such a funny and outstanding guy as a new brother.
Samantha Ganton

You might mistake Samantha for Amanda's sister, but she is actually Amanda's younger and much taller cousin. Sam and Amanda have so many great memories together, both from childhood and adulthood. Samantha and Amanda have been close since they were young. They had a lot of fun when Jake and Amanda have visited her in Florida. You can count on Samantha for always being lovable and sassy. Amanda has many great stories with Sam, but she can't share them until Sam gets married herself (it involves crying).
Dane Gomberg

Jake has known Dane his whole life. As the older brother, Jake has always been, and continues to be the funnier, and better looking brother. Despite being less funny than Jake, Dane, continues to be one of the few people that can simultaneously tease Jake, while making him laugh harder than anyone else. Jake and Amanda can’t wait to spend this very special occasion with Dane, and his wife Michelle.

Asa is Jake's younger sister. She is outgoing, fun, and sassy! She will fit in great with Amanda's friends and family. Amanda and Asa are still getting to know each other, but Amanda is so excited to spend this special time with her future sister-in-law.

Many summers ago, Jake met Matt (often referred to by his surname Mason), on the shores of Maranacook Lake. Jake bonded with Mason over a mutual love of travel, wine, and cooking. Mason is an invaluable part of Jake’s family of friends, and truly, an irreplaceable friend.
Heidi Hallam

Heidi is one of Amanda's oldest and closest friends. Amanda has known Heidi since kindergarten! They have grown up together. Heidi is part of "The Girls." Heidi is always crazy busy (she is a medical resident), but she always makes time to see Amanda when she comes to Colorado. Heidi is sweet, passionate, and lovable. You can always count on her for wine nights, being undyingly supportive, and having a mutual love of watching terrible reality television.
Alex Slack

Alex (affectionately referred to by his surname Slack) and Jake met the summer before college, and having been goofing off together ever since. From walking around department stores in robes to driving around Maine, Alex and Jake have started many journeys together. Jake could not imagine starting another important chapter without Slack there with him.
Tyler Abel

Tyler is one of Amanda's closest friends. They have known each other since 7th grade. She is a part of "The Girls." Tyler and Amanda both work in education, love drinking tea, and are passionate about the outdoors. Tyler never fails to make Amanda laugh. She is hard working, kind, and an old soul. Tyler gives the best advice and supported Amanda through many ups and downs. Amanda can't wait to have this special time together.
Kyle Mitchell

One of Jake’s oldest and best friends, Jake and Kyle have been in each other’s lives since high school. Kyle and Jake have been known to string together impromptu comedic improvisations and then spend the hours laughing at their creations. Jake and Amanda’s wedding would not be complete without one of his, closest and best friends there with whom to enjoy many laughs, and to share in the celebrations.

Lea is one of Amanda's oldest and dearest friends. Amanda and Lea have known each other since Middle School and they literally grew up together. Lea is part of "The Girls." Amanda will never forget the first time they hung out. They went ice skating and then Lea invited Amanda to sleep over at her house. Amanda was so touched by this as they didn't really know each other. This speaks to Lea's character. She is warm hearted and welcoming. Lea and Amanda also went to Colorado State University together. You can count on her to pet every dog in sight, including her own, giving the best hugs, and an off-the-wall silly sense of humor. They have had so many good times, and have many more to come!

Christa is one of Amanda's oldest friends. Amanda has known her since Middle School. They met in 6th grade Language Arts, and then played on the same soccer team for four seasons. She is part of "The Girls." After High School, Christa moved to the Pacific Northwest. Amanda is lucky enough to have visited her in the PNW three times. Christa is strong, passionate, and very talented. Amanda is so excited to share her special day with Christa!
