Yosemite National Park
Lots of beautiful waterfalls and trails to hike on! Vernal falls is not too bad of a hike. Even seen a couple of mama bears and cubs! The fresh, crisp air is always refreshing to the soul.
Moro Rock Trail
Acres of the Giant Sequoia and Redwood trees that will take your breath away. Among the many trails you can hike in Sequoia National Park, Moro Rock trail is an easy-medium level trail Oddy and I have done with my family. It takes you to the top of a dome-shaped granite formation with a rock-cut stairway to the panoramic summit.
Forestiere Underground Gardens
Baldassare Forestiere, a Sicilian immigrant, came to America in 1901 to pursue his dreams of becoming a citrus farmer. He soon found out after arriving to Fresno, California that the soil was hard-pan sedentary rock. Forestiere crafted a subterranean complex of patios, grottoes and garden courts, all featuring arches and stonework with simple farm tools over a span of 40 years.
Shaver Lake
A Valley Favorite. You can rent Jet skis, paddle boards, kayaks and more. Its just 45 minutes away from Fresno.

Tower District
This strip of bars is where many hipsters/ young adults go for a relaxed night out. There's even a pool hall right in the middle of the strip. I spent a majority of my college weekends in this area. Try the Mango Jesus at Living Stones and you're golden for the night!
El Premio Mayor
Delicious, authentic Mexican tacos are served here!. This place has won the Taco Throw-down more than a couple of times. Be ready to wait in line, it'll be worth it!
