Orlando Science Center requires all wedding attendees to wear a mask while in public guest areas. This includes all elevators, stairwells, bathrooms, and guest levels 1-3. While on the fourth floor, the space will be limited to just our guests. [Updated: 11/17/2021]
MCO is the Orlando International Airport. It will be the most convenient airport to travel into.
If you plan on coming to the Wedding and staying a few extra days to enjoy some of Orlando's other offerings, we suggest finding a hotel near the attractions. We can absolutely suggest a few great ones! If you are looking for a hotel close to the venue, we are working with Comfort Suites Downtown Orlando at 2416 North Orange Avenue, Orlando, FL as it is only a short walk away from the Orlando Science Center. Please check the Travel page for more details on how to book a stay at this hotel.
Semiformal attire is appreciated. Please avoid wearing jeans if you can. Nerdy accessories are always welcome, and there will not be a check at the door for lightsabers. -wink-
On November 17th, 2019, a secret plan began. Before we can get there, though, we need to rewind to a party. An "I Do BBQ" for Joseph and Alexa, who are good friends of the couple. At this party, they had an area to write date ideas on popsicle sticks. Sydney chose to write "Have a double date with Eric and Sydney" on her popsicle stick, and stuck it into the jar. Eric, deviously, took note of this. It provided perfect groundwork for his plan. Fast forward a few months, and Sydney received a text from Alexa. "We pulled your stick! Are you guys free on November 17?" "Of Course!" And so Sydney and Eric met up with them in the Magic Kingdom. They walked the park, went through the emporium and the Tiki Room... "How about the Jungle Cruise?" Sydney suggested. ... "Yes. Let's go on the Jungle Cruise." replied Eric, excited that he didn't even need to suggest where to go next. It was here that a boat arrived full of friends, and family, and an important question. "Yes."
