How early should I book my hotel room?

Answer

We recommend booking your hotel room as soon as possible! We have a room block established at the Sheraton Mountain Vista Villas in Avon, but we only have a certain number of rooms guaranteed for our party. Once those rooms get booked, the rest are based on availability. You can of course book a room at a different hotel, but we cannot guarantee prices at any other hotel. If you know that you will be able to attend the wedding, we recommend that you book!

How will transportation work on the wedding day?

Answer

There is parking at Ford Hall, which is right below the gondola that you take up for the ceremony. If you don’t want to drive, you can also take an Uber or Lyft! After the ceremony, shuttles will take all guests from Centennial Station to Saddleridge for the reception. At the end of the night, shuttles will take guests back to Centennial Station. It will be super easy!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is parking at Ford Hall, a parking garage next to Centennial Station. You will be shuttled to and from the reception because there is no public parking at the reception. There may be a fee to park at Ford Hall so bring a little cash with you just in case! We recommend that you Uber or Lyft to and from Centennial Station because it is the safest and easiest option!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The gondola ride takes approximately 15 minutes, so we recommend that you arrive to Centennial Station (2 minute walk to the gondola) by 2:00 PM. This gives you plenty of time to get to the top of the mountain, greet some people, and find your seat at the wedding deck. The ceremony will begin at 2:30 PM.

What will the temperature be like in September?

Answer

In the mountains of Colorado in September, the average high is 67 degrees and the average low is 33 degrees, but it regularly gets up into the high 70s during this month. We are hoping for warm weather, however, it can be unpredictable. So, we definitely recommend that you bring a jacket with you to all wedding events!

Will there be a cash bar?

Answer

There will be a full service bar until the dancing begins at the end of the night - at which point, it will turn into a cash bar. We recommend that you bring some cash if you would like to continue drinking during the dancing portion of the evening!
