Flight
For those flying from Europe (or can fly through Europe), WestJet offers daily flights direct to St. John's (London-Gatwick 4x weekly, 2x weekly via Dublin, 1x weekly via Paris) which are typically much cheaper and faster alternatives than flying Air Canada or any other airlines. For those travelling in from elsewhere in Canada, keep these in mind if you feel like a quick European pitstop after the wedding!
Flight
For those flying from elsewhere in Canada, there are a number of options between Air Canada, West Jet, and Porter for flying into St. John's. For those looking to travel across the island, it is possible to fly in or out of Deer Lake on the opposite end of the trip (within a 1.5 hr drive from Gros Morne National Park). Note: be sure to book your flight to St. John's, Newfoundland (and not Saint John, New Brunswick) - it may sound silly to even mention, but mix ups happen more often than you think!
House Or Rental
There are a number of great options on AirBnB! For an authentic Newfoundland experience, we recommend staying in The Battery, Quidi Vidi, or Signal Hill. All amazing micro-communities within the city full of history and character. For those looking for a location downtown and close to all the amenities/walkable, we would recommend looking for accommodations south of Empire Ave. and east of Bonaventure Ave./Cathedral St. For those that have a rental car and don't mind being a little outside the city/downtown, there are great options along the coastline if you prefer to be somewhere quieter along the water (Middle Cove, Outer Cove, Logy Bay, Torbay, Flatrock, Pouch Cove, Bauline, C.B.S., St. Philip's, etc.) Feel free to send option(s) you are considering to the bride or groom for their input!

Rental Car
Rental cars are by far the most difficult thing to come by in the province. If you know you do (or may) want a rental car, we recommend booking ASAP (like, today). There are many rental companies based out of the airport and Turo also exists in the province. If you are planning to travel outside the St. John's area, a rental car will be required. For those just sticking to the St. John's area, cabs and Ubers are available to get around.
Travel Note
For those looking to explore the island, we highly recommend checking out the Bonavista Peninsula (Trinity/Port Rexton/Bonavista area) which is approximately a 3 hour drive from St. John's. Brigus is a great place to stop along the way (or even stay a night for those that can't travel quite as far) to get the authentic Newfoundland experience. And for those that have even more time, we highly recommend checking out Gros Morne (7 hour drive from St. John's). The closest airport to Gros Morne is Deer Lake for those that prefer to fly across the province (or drop their rental car there and return home from that airport). Another option that's popular among CFAs (Come From Aways) is Fogo Island. Be mindful of the Ferry schedule when planning your trip. Feel free to reach out to the bride and groom for recommendations if you do decide to travel outside St. John's. The bride's Google Maps guide is also a great reference for where to eat, drink, and stay across the entire province (see below).
