Chicago has hundreds of hotels at all different prices; while we have decided not to have a hotel block, here is some information on where to find a place to stay. The closest hotel to our wedding venue is the Hampton Inn Chicago North-Loyola Station. We are, however, sharing our wedding weekend with Loyola University's parents' weekend and the prices might be unusually high here.

Chicago Hotels

Our wedding venue is located steps away from the Thorndale Red Line stop in Chicago's Edgewater neighborhood. This is a lakeside, residential community without many nearby hotels. For a variety of hotel options, we recommend the following neighborhoods: Evanston Our wedding venue is actually closer to Evanston, IL than it is to hotels in downtown Chicago. If you don't mind not being in Chicago proper, downtown Evanston has hotels at several price points and is a short car (or train!) ride from our wedding venue. River North, Gold Coast, and Streeterville Trendy shopping and dining with a full range of hotel price points and styles. Quick access to various Red Line stations. The Loop Chicago's central business district, with a similar assortment of hotel options and transit access.

AirBnB and Other Options

If you are looking for a non-hotel option, we recommend looking at neighborhoods along the lakefront, for ease of travel. Some options include: Andersonville Chicago's historic Swedish neighborhood, lots of restaurants and cute shops. Wrigleyville Home of the Chicago Cubs, a very active nightlife scene. Lakeview & Lincoln Park Cute homes, lots of green space, and you can check out where Annika went to grad school!
