Flight
We recommend flying in to the SeaTac airport, which is about 20 minutes south of Seattle. It is the city's largest airport, with rental cars, a light rail station, and a dedicated Uber/Lyft pickup zone. There are also taxis you can take that would take you to your hotel for approximately $50.
Hotel
We have a hotel block at the Lotte hotel, which is directly adjacent to the The Sanctuary. There is a discount if you book through the link below. The discount rate will only show as available for the night of the wedding, but you're able to extend your stay with the discount rate up to 3 days before and after the wedding date. To extend your stay, you can email the Lotte hotel at reservations@lottehotelseattle.com. If you run in to any issues with booking, please reach out to Annie!
House Or Rental
There are tons of AirBnB options around the city! We currently live in South Lake Union, which is nice but quiet on the weekends. Capitol Hill has lively night life with great food/drinks and Queen Anne is more residential and has a few cute shops to explore. We recommend avoiding 3rd Ave between Blanchard Street and University Street, as well as International District and parts of Pioneer Square. If you have any questions about good places to stay please feel free to reach out!
Travel Note
Seattle has some pretty decent public transit options, with a metro line (light rail) and a few bus lines that go around the city and to the surrounding areas. If you would like to use public transit, we recommend getting an ORCA card, which allows you to pay for public transit and is available to order online or at any major light rail station.
Hotel
Hotel Max is another hotel option close to the The Sanctuary at The Lotte Hotel, and on the same block as our apartment! It's a small, clean, and located a couple blocks away from lots of shopping and restaurants.
Hotel
CitizenM is a basic hotel that's located in a relatively quiet part of downtown. It is a short walk away from Lake Union park, and there are a few restaurants close by that are open on the weekends.
Travel Note
Ubers and Lyfts are available in and around downtown Seattle pretty much 24/7, and are a great option if you don't want to deal with the hassle of renting a car and finding parking.
