The couple invites Lord Ganesha into the home to remove obstacles and bring happiness and prosperity Pithi: The family applies turmeric paste to the couple. The mixture is believed to bless the couple, and it's also said to have medicinal properties.

The word “Sangeet “ means "Musical Night" or "Musical Party". It is a term used to describe a pre-ceremony event in an Indian wedding, during which the union of not only the couple but also the bonding of both families is celebrated. Expect lots of music, dancing, games, good food and company :) Mehndi: Also known as henna, is a pre-wedding celebration that involves applying henna patterns to the body. Henna can also symbolize positive spirits, good luck, fortune, vibrance, and new beginnings. There will be a Mendhi artist at the Sangeet, for anyone who wants to get their henna done.
