Boulevard Brewing Tours & Recreation Center
The Boulevard Tours & Rec Center is one of our favorite places in KC. The Beer Hall is spacious and has numerous beers on tap and a lot of tasty options for an afternoon snack. Isaac recommends the Space Camper IPA and Annie recommends a Tank 7! The Rec Deck on the upper floor has an amazing view of the Kansas City Skyline and offers shuffleboard & other games. The reception will take place right across the street in their event's building so this is a great place to stop before going to the reception!
Kansas City Bier Company
This is where we went for our first date. The KC Bier Co Dunkel is a classic and their Fest Bier is a must try if they still have it available. We also suggest trying a giant pretzel if you are hungry!
International Tap House - Crossroads
If you are a fan of beer but want more options than a brewery, I-Tap is a great option! They are connected to Mission Taco so if you are wanting a snack as well, they have you covered.
Any BBQ Restaurant!
Kansas City is famous for it's BBQ so if you are interested in trying some Isaac recommends KC Joe's or Q39 in particular, but you can't go wrong.
Country Club Plaza
Weather permitting, The Plaza is a great place to walk around and explore the different shops and restaurants. During Christmas time, they have the beautiful Plaza lights on display so we highly recommend driving through and seeing them!
