Love is brewing

When Isaac heard Annie liked craft beer, he invited her to KC Bier Co for a drink (shockingly the first date was not at Boulevard Brewing). We met in the back by the map, listened to polka music, ate a giant pretzel and drank some beer. Not wanting the date to end, we went to International Tap House, one of Annie's favorite hangouts. Since Isaac was new to Kansas City and had never been to Boulevard, Annie wasted no time in inviting him to Sunday bingo. Isaac met Annie and her friends, Sarah and Justin Krivena (who are now a bridesmaid and usher for the wedding) where they spent the morning playing bingo and drinking Tank 7 mimosas. It was love at first sight-- for Boulevard at least. After bingo, Sarah took our first picture together in front of Boulevard Tours and Rec, the same spot we would get engaged a year and a half later.
