Founders Hall Welcome Party Sangeet means a musical night, which will take place Friday evening. This musical night is a celebration of the union of not only the couple but the bonding of both families and everyone is invited! It will feel very similar to a wedding reception, with food, drinks and dancing. The couple's family members and friends perform special dances to celebrate the couple. Please feel free to wear Indian attire or cocktail attire - check out the FAQ page for shopping recommendations!
Founders Hall Wedding Ceremony The Baraat, which is the arrival of the groom, includes a greeting by the bride's family at the wedding venue Saturday morning. The groom's relatives and friends lead him to the venue full of laughter, music and dancing. It’s an exciting start for both wedding parties who are about to join together - sometimes, the bride’s relatives will tease the groom, asking him for coins or gifts in exchange for getting inside the venue. The Baraat will start around 10am.
Founders Hall Wedding Ceremony Anand Karaj means “blissful union” - which will take place inside the venue on Saturday morning right after the Baraat. Before entering the room, please be prepared to take off your shoes, have your head covered and sit on the floor for the entire ceremony (wear something comfortable!). There will be head coverings for those to use that do not have one. Ladies, if your outfit comes with a Dupatta then you can use that as a head covering or a shall would work fine as well. The ceremony will last around 1 hour and you will be given a program to follow along. Light snacks and tea will be provided before and after the ceremony.
Charleston Marriott Wedding Reception You know the drill - dinner, dancing and drinks! Let's party!
