Question

Can I bring a friend or date?

Answer

If your RSVP page lists out your guest or if the formal invitation includes your guest on the inner envelope, please feel free to bring them. If not, we ask you to just bring your wonderful self!

What is the dress attire?

Answer

Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits, dark jackets, slacks and cocktail dresses.

Do I mail back my RSVP or RSVP online? By what date do I need to RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP online only under the "RSVP" tab of this website. Let us know if you can make it by Saturday, April 30, 2022!

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

What time should we arrive?

Answer

The ceremony, the first event of the evening, will be at the Black Iris Estate and begins at 5:30 PM ET sharp. Please arrive no later than 5:15 pm ET.

Where should guests park?

Answer

Parking is free and available within the parking lot right in front of the Black Iris Estate mansion. If need be, you can keep your car parked in the parking lot until noon the next day, but no later than noon! :)

Where are you registered?

Answer

If you click on the "Registry" tab of this website, scroll down to see that we are registered at Target, Crate & Barrel as well as Bed Bath & Beyond! We are also accepting Visa gift cards.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and the reception, along with cocktail hour, are taking place at the Black Iris Estate. Check out our venue's website here: blackirisestate.com

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors, weather permitting, while the reception will be indoors.

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

July in Indiana is nice and warm, but also a tad humid! Daily high temperatures are around 85°F, rarely falling below 77°F or exceeding 92°F.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you're unable to come to our wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and reply "will not attend" under the "RSVP" tab of this website, so we can plan accordingly!
