The best options for getting around London are the buses and the underground. Use your contactless card to tap in and out of the Tube and to tap in on buses. There is no need to buy an Oyster card unless you do not have contactless. Apple pay also works, but make sure you tap in and out on the same card/device.

The best app to find your routes around London. Available as an app for your phone and at www.citymapper.com
Rental Car
We recommend Avis https://www.avis.co.uk/ or Europcar https://www.europcar.co.uk/en-gb to check rental prices. They have branches in all airports and in London and Norwich.
Travel Note
Use Uber or Gett for a Black Cab (a black London cab is official; drivers are trained. It's more expensive but has more room for up to five or sometimes six people and luggage- and better navigation). Don't get us wrong—we love Uber—but if you're in a rush, have more than four people or have a tricky drop-off point, Gett is your best bet when ordering London Black cabs. https://www.gett.com/uk/ You can also hail one from the street.
