Question

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

We suggest you fly into Santa Barbara's airport (SBA) It is a small airport and there is a shuttle to the hotel, The Fess Parker by Double Tree. Unless you desire to do so, you do not need to rent a car to get around Santa Barbara. If you fly into LAX you will need to either rent a car or take the Pacific Surfliner or Amtark Starlight train up to Santa Barbara. http://www.pacificsurfliner.com www.amtrak.com/coast-starlight-train

Question

Is there a shuttle from the airport?

Answer

Yes! The hotel does provide a shuttle to and from the airport. Please call the hotel before your arrival to tell them your flight # and they will then have a shuttle pick you up! (805) 564-4333

Question

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

Yes there is, please follow this link https://aws.passkey.com/e/49196311

Question

Do I have to stay at The Fess Parker?

Answer

Of course not! There are several hotels in Santa Barbara. Please see the Travel tab for a few hotel suggestion. There are also less expensive hotels in SB, farther off the ocean

Question

Dress Code

Answer

Beach Formal- Think flowy spring dresses and floral prints and pastel hues. Men go for dress pants with a fun or simple button up shirt. Ties optional. We will be outside, but by the beach in California can get chilly at night!

Question

Are Kids Invited

Answer

We love your kids- we really do. But, unless your child received a personal invitation please leave the little ones at home. We want you to be able to enjoy yourself and relax. If you need child care services please visit DestinationSitters.com for baby sitter options!

Question

Is the hotel on the beach?

Answer

The hotel is across the street from the beach. However, due to city restrictions in SB, the hotel does not offer beach chairs or umbrellas. We encourage you to bring blankets to sit on, because the beach is very worth it. The hotel does have pool towels you can take to the beach. There are signs requesting you to keep the pool towels in the pool area, but rules are meant to be broken.
