The Wedding Website of Annie Dee Coyle and Alec Vishal Rouben
Theme : Midsummer Mystical Garden

Theme : Midsummer Mystical Garden

Dress: Formal-ish,

Our Midsummer Mystical Garden wedding is themed by the coming together of the ethereal and earthly, a celebration of the joining of two soul’s paths, and a renaissance of beauty, love, and human depth. A midsummer mystical woodland gathering of souls whose collective energy merrymakes with the spirit of our ancestors, and the elemental kingdom of this world, delighting in the decadence of life and the commemorating the sacred moment when two family’s unite. Our wedding aesthetic and vision intends to inspire a remembrance of sacred, and into deeper wonder of the alchemical union and transformational power of love. We invite you to lean into expressing your unique beauty in a way that feels attuned to the enchanting nature that physical attire and adornment can reflect, with opportunity to razzle and dazzle in celestial, etheric, elegance, or ground into a rooted expression in earthly hues and colors of June blossoms.

Ethereal Lights, Celestial Sparkle, Dreamy Elegance, Midi or Maxi Dresses, Wedge Shoes, Dress Sandals, Flats

For those drawn to an ethereal aesthetic, consider embracing soft, luminous tones and flowing fabrics that captures the artful beauty of light cast on textile. Think silky, satin, and shimmery textures with moonlit, celestial, or iridescent sheens. Adorn yourself with gold, silver, pearls, or sparkly gemstones. Ladies, if you vibe more with the grounded neutrals of earth-tone aesthetic, feel free to lean in the direction of nature-based, metallic colors, or earth-tone based dress-wear. If needing a hat for sun protection consider elegant options like flat-brim hats, sun hats, derby hats, wide-brimmed styles, are welcome. Our goal is ensuring you feel both protected and stylish. There will be space to spruce up your hair at the reception, if wearing a hat! **Please avoid neon colors that would disrupt the natural palette, and avoid stilettos or shoes that are not appropriate for walking on hard dirt ground with some uneven areas.

Shoe-ware should be appropriate for walking on hard dirt and some uneven ground (dress boots, nice leather boots, loafers). * Kindly request no baseball caps, no zip up jackets, no sandals.

Venue Weather Considerations

Our ceremony site is located on Boulder's Flagstaff Mountain. June comes with some unique weather dynamics to keep in mind. At nearly 7,000 feet elevation, afternoon temperatures and conditions can shift quickly. We'll have umbrellas available in case of a summer shower. A 70-degree afternoon can feel like 85 degrees under full sun, so we recommend preparing for varied conditions. Please prioritize hydration. Bring sunglasses, sunscreen, a reusable water bottle (no single use plastic) and consider bringing a light warm layer. While we kindly as to avoid baseball caps, if wanting to wear a hat for sun protection, consider elegant alternatives like sun hats, derby hats, wide-brimmed styles, are welcome. Our goal is ensuring you feel both protected and stylish. There will be space to spruce up your hair at the reception, if wearing a hat! For ongoing information and communications, make sure to join our What's App Group (click the button below).

Transportation & Carpooling

Transportation to our wedding venues will require some coordination. Our ceremony site (Sunrise Amphitheater, Boulder) is about a 40 minute drive from our reception space (Skylight, Downtown Denver). There is limited parking available at Sunrise Amphitheater, so we recommend carpooling as much as possible to ensure smooth and efficient travel. Flagstaff Mountain has strict rules on lengths of vehicles that can drive it's winding roads, but will also have a small shuttle option for some. Please join our community What'sApp group to learn more about carpooling/shuttle coordination (click the button below).

Venue Accessibility & Comfort Considerations

Our ceremony is taking place in a stone benched amphitheater with a mostly hard dirt terrain, which is uneven in some areas. A wheelchair-accessible ramped path and rock steps connect the paved parking lot to the amphitheater. Though, if likely to be using a wheel chair, we will need to know to ensure proper support over any varying terrain (we have many helpful strong men to help assist to ensure comfort for all of our guests!) Guests will be seated on stone benches, which we'll provide with blankets and cushions for added comfort. While we'll have limited backed chairs and backjacks available, we're committed to ensuring everyone's comfort. If you require a backed chair or would prefer a backjack for bench seating, please indicate this in your RSVP and join our WhatsApp group linked below. This will allow us to personally address and support your specific accessibility needs.
