Annie & Alec's story is one that has offered them both lessons in trusting the divine timing of true love. They met one wild night before a concert in 2014, when Annie was a senior in High School, and Alec had just began college at University of Colorado. They continued a casual friendship through both of their following years at CU and beyond. Within a ten year span of time from 2010-2020, they found themselves walking similar journey's calling them into the depths of the yogic path, with countless moments where they seemingly passed each other by in close proximity. They lived in adjacent homes across the street from one another for several years, engaged in entrepreneurial business together for a brief moment, missed each other's travels to the same town at the base of the Himalaya's by a single week, and continually found themselves at multiple of the same yoga events and workshops. It wasn't until 2020 during the heart of lockdown that they reconnected in a new way. Alec slid into Annie's DM's, following a video-post of her dancing. Due to lockdown, they had their first date on zoom, and while Annie thought they were simply reconnecting from old friendship connections, Alec had other motives. At the end of their zoom date, Alec looked Annie in the eyes and said "my soul has a crush on your soul." In that moment, everything seemed shift and something opened up for both of them from which there was mutual aha-ness that this just felt so right. Without doubt, both know that their story is one of trusting in the Universe and that everything occurs within the divine timing of life. While there had been countless opportunities in prior years to be together, each of them had necessary personal evolution needing to unfold in order for them to unite in co-creative life of love together. Since then, their little family has grown. Moose & Walter, their beloved doodle dogs has made their wee little family complete (for now ;)). It is with so much joy that they are now embarking on this new chapter together as husband & wife.
