Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Annie Pawlick and Nick Long
We're excited to share a few of our favorite places with you! Please reach out if you need more info or suggestions.

Restaurant Recommendations

In downtown Kirkland, we love Rimini Restaurant, KIWAMI Sushi Bar, and Cactus. We also recommend Rock Creek Seafood and Spirits or Hearth Restaurant (in the Heathman Hotel). If you're looking for a good diner-style breakfast, we highly recommend George's! If a dive bar with excellent pizza is more your vibe, we love Pogacha's Pub 85 just outside of downtown Kirkland. If you're staying in downtown Bellevue, check out JOEY Bellevue, Tavern Hall, Duke's Seafood, or Carmine's.

Wine Tasting

There are a ton of tasting rooms in Woodinville, which is just a short drive from Kirkland (where Annie and Nick live) and just down the street from the wedding venue. It's easy to hop from tasting to tasting and is a fun place to spend the day and learn about Washington's plentiful wine offerings. We've included a link to the Woodinville Wine website, but reach out for tasting room recommendations!

Outdoor Activities

If you have extra time and want to channel your inner Nick with a round of golf, Willows Run is a public course right in Redmond (also has a fun par 3 course if you're like Annie and enjoy a shorter round!). Also check out Snohomish Golf Course if you're willing to drive a bit farther, or Chambers Bay for bucket list golf. There are so many wonderful outdoor activities to enjoy in the PNW. We love to just take a stroll along Lake Washington, and there are many parks and green spaces to visit in the area. If you're wanting to travel farther out, there are great hikes nearby, and we also enjoy the quick and easy ferry trips to Whidbey Island or the San Juans. You might also be able to spot a whale or two through October!

Other Activities

If you haven't spent much time in western Washington or Seattle, it is fun to hit up the tourist destinations in downtown Seattle (Space Needle, Pike Place Market, the Pier and Great Wheel, etc.). While our recommendations are primarily on the Eastside of Lake Washington (where we live and where our wedding will be), we're just a short drive from the heart of downtown Seattle. Let us know if you're interested in any downtown Seattle activities and we can give you additional tips and recommendations!
