The Beach
The beach. Enough said. Sunbathing, swimming or any of your other standard beach activities. The area is known for having the best sea shells in the country. Turner beach is a popular public beach spot, and is great for viewing sunsets. The beach at the resort is impeccable as well.
Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge
Ding Darling is home to a large collection of mangroves, migratory birds and other animals. The refuge includes hiking trails, a bike trail, boating, bird watching, paddle boarding and kayaking.
South Seas Resort Activities
Activities include going to the beach, relaxing by multiple pools, golf, tennis, kid’s club, fishing charters, kayak tours, nature activities, and water sports.
Boating
Take a boat and see the sites from the water, or go fishing and catch our wedding gift. Common stops include Cabbage Key (one of many places that claims to be the inspiration for Cheeseburger in Paradise), Useppa Island (where the CIA conducted training for the Bay of Pigs invasion) and Cayo Costa State Park. We have had great experiences with Captiva Cruises.
