Where the heck is Durango, CO???

Answer

Durango is located in the beautiful southwestern region of Colorado. It is in the Animas river valley of the San Juan Mountain Range. It is a 3.5 hour drive from Albuquerque, NM and 6 hours from Denver, CO

Why Durango?

Answer

Because it's AWESOME! Being 3.5 hours away from Albuquerque, Durango has become one of our favorite mountain getaways. It is part mountain town and part old western town, which seems to capture us as Annie is a mountain girl at heart and Jay is an old western lovin' dude.

Are kids able to come?

Answer

What do I need to bring?

Answer

Warm clothes and sunscreen. Mountain towns can get cold at night, even when it's really hot in the day. There will be a deck at the venue where we are staying, you may bring warm jackets, extra clothing and even blankets if you wish and stash them on the porch for the later hours of the night when it gets cold. We will also have some blankets and possibly a bonfire for the end of the night. You will be at 6.500 ft so please drink lots of water, wear sunscreen and hats (the sun is intense), give yourself breaks, and go easy on the alcohol for those of you coming from sea level. Remember that Jay and I are off duty, we don't want to have to work on our wedding weekend ;)
