Question

Where do I RSVP?

Answer

Please fill out this form to RSVP for our wedding: https://forms.office.com/r/fCC0Nf04C9

Question

What weather should I dress for?

Answer

Early September is a beautiful time to visit southwest France! During the day, you can expect peak temperatures in the upper 70s °F (25°C). At night, temperatures drop to lower 60s °F (17°C). Dress codes for each event are listed in the Schedule section. All of our meals and events will be held outside weather permitting. Don't forget to pack sunscreen!

Question

How do I get a SIM card in France?

Answer

We highly recommend getting an eSIM from Airalo. We used this during our visit to Castelnau and had no issues with internet service. Just download the Airalo app on your phone and select an internet package for France. Please note, your phone must be unlocked by your carrier and able to support eSIM. Use referral code: KOEN2078 to get $3 off your first purchase. Castelnau offers free wifi in each on-site accommodation, but not all the common areas.

Question

What food and drink will be available?

Answer

The schedule section lists all meals that are included as part of your stay. The reception dinner on Saturday will be a plated dinner (please choose your meal when you RSVP). All other meals will be either food truck or buffet style. Please include any dietary restrictions in your RSVP, we will do our best to meet these. Additionally, we will provide snacks for you to keep in the houses. Each house is equipped with a kitchenette that is shared by all guests staying in that house. The kitchenettes vary by house but most include a fridge, microwave/mini oven, kettle, small cooktop, dishes, utensils, tea and coffee. Alcoholic (including local French wine, beer, and liquor) and non-alcoholic beverages will be served throughout the weekend. Tap water at Castelnau is potable.

Question

Where are the closest shops?

Answer

Lectoure is the closest small town near Castelnau. Here you can find shops with any basic necessities you may need!

Question

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

We would be very appreciative of cash contributions toward our honeymoon. We have opted not to have a traditional registry. Due to this being a destination wedding, we ask guests not to bring items as gifts as it will be difficult to bring along during our travels. There will be a card box during the cocktail hour.

Question

Do U.S. passport holders need a visa to enter France?

Answer

Starting in mid-2025, U.S. passport holders will need to apply for travel authorization through the European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS) prior to arrival to the EU (including France). You must apply through either the official ETIAS website or the ETIAS mobile application. The ETIAS travel authorization costs 7 euros. For other non-EU passport holders, please check online for potential visa requirements. Please note, your passport must be valid for at least 6 months at the time of entry into the EU.
