Flight
All wedding guests should plan to fly into Josep Tarradellas Barcelona- El Prat Airport— the city's only major international airport. Located about 20 minutes from the city center, it's the most convenient option for arriving in Barcelona. Once you land, you'll find plenty of transportation options, including taxis, ubers, airport shuttles, and public transit, making it easy to get to your hotel. To make your stay more enjoyable, we have added the following hotels listed below that are offering exclusive discounts for our guests! Please reach out to us if there are any issues with discount codes. Feel free to choose hotels outside of the ones listed, we just recommend booking accommodations near Placa de Catalunya, which will be the main pick up spot for wedding shuttle service.

Travel Note
If you're traveling to Barcelona from the United States, please make sure your passport is valid for at least 3 months beyond your planned departure from Spain. If your passport is expired or will expire soon, we recommend starting the renewal process as early as possible—current processing times can take several weeks. We’d hate for anyone to miss out due to passport issues, so please double-check your documents! https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/have-passport/renew.html

💳 Paying in Barcelona Credit & Debit Cards are widely accepted, especially Visa and Mastercard. You can use contactless payments (tap with your card or phone) almost everywhere, including taxis, restaurants, shops, and museums. If you want to carry a small amount of cash for markets and smaller cafés you are welcome to but most places will take card! 🏧 ATMs ATMs are easy to find throughout the city and offer a convenient way to get euros. Just make sure to: **Always choose euros when you're in Barcelona (or anywhere in Europe) at an ATM or when paying by card. Choosing euros means your home bank will handle the currency conversion — usually at a better exchange rate and with fewer fees. Notify your bank before traveling to avoid any card issues. 💡 Tipping Tipping is not as common in Spain as in some other countries. It’s appreciated but not expected: Round up your bill or leave €1-2 at a café or casual restaurant. For more formal meals or excellent service, 5–10% is generous.
